Pickup, check-in, sunset at Nahargarh.

Jaipur sightseeing
Amber Fort, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal and the bazaars.

Jaipur to Bikaner
A 335 km drive north. Afternoon at Junagarh Fort and the Rampuria havelis.

Bikaner to Jaisalmer
Karni Mata Temple at Deshnok on the way out, then 330 km west across the desert.

Jaisalmer
Sonar Quila, Patwon ki Haveli, Gadisar Lake, then out to the Sam dunes for sunset and a camp dinner.

Jaisalmer to Jodhpur
285 km with a Pokhran stop. Evening at the clock tower market.

Mehrangarh in the morning, then the scenic drive via Ranakpur to Udaipur.

This itinerary is normally run with a Innova Crysta or Tempo Traveller with driver. The same vehicle and driver stay with you for the whole trip, so your luggage never moves between cars and the day plan can flex as you go. If your group size or luggage suggests a different vehicle, we will say so when we quote.

Is eight days a comfortable pace for this route?
Yes. There are four driving days, but each one has stops built in and none exceeds six hours.
Can we skip Bikaner to shorten the trip?
You can, which makes it a seven-day trip going Jaipur–Jodhpur–Jaisalmer–Udaipur. Bikaner does break the long northern leg nicely though.
Do you arrange the desert camp?
We arrange the transfer and can recommend camps across price levels; the camp itself is booked separately unless you ask us to include it.
